high-level flow cytometer HIV test machine CD4 FCM YSTE-AE7S flow cytometer Flow cytometry (FCM) is a technique used to detect and measure physical and chemical characteristics of a population of cells or particles. In this process, a sample containing cells or particles is suspended in a fluid and injected into the flow cytometer instrument. The sample is focused to ideally flow one cell at a time through a laser beam, where the light scattered is characteristic to the cells and their components. Cells are often labeled with fluorescent markers so light is absorbed and then emitted in a band of wavelengths. Tens of thousands of cells can be quickly examined and the data gathered are processed by a computer. Clinical Application: 1. Analysis and absolute count of lymphocyte subsets:T/B/NK; 2. HLA-B27 detection: ankylosing spondylitis; 3. Blood disease/lymphoma immunophenotyping; 4. Functional lymphocyte subsets analysis: Th1, Treg; 5. Count of CD34 hemopoietic stem cell; 6. PNH auxiliary diagnosis:CD55 , CD59 , FLARE,CD14 , CD15; 7. Multiple myeloma; 8. Platelets: count and immunophenotype analysis of platelets; 9. Count of Reticulocytes; 10. Minor residual disease monitor of acute leukemia; 11. DNA ploidy analysis.
